Are you feeling a pull to know more about Reiki?

It’s been two weeks since my mind–blowing Reiki Retreat with Frans Stiene – and if I’m honest, I’m still feeling the repercussions of all that happened that weekend.
I wrote last week about my three–day adventure with the internationally renowned Reiki Master, Frans Stiene – for anyone who missed it, you can read that Blog post here:
But what’s really touched me this week is that, almost without exception, everyone who’s come to The Cabin for their own restorative healing Reiki Treatment, has commented on the Blog post and wanted to know more about the retreat.
A huge smile always takes over my face as I attempt to explain what happened, and how much of a – genuinely – life–changing experience it was.
I’ve already started to incorporate all of what I learnt from Frans into my own Reiki practice, so you can imagine how touched, and excited I was, to hear from one of my regular clients that he felt our Reiki time together was different this week. Something had changed.
I guess that something was me!

With Frans’ words of wisdom still resonating in my ears, I know my Reiki practice is continuing to evolve, and as I immerse myself into being the purest light I can be for each and every client, I’m so grateful that I get to be part of this amazing Reiki community.
Another client, who did her Reiki training many years ago, commented this week that she remembered having a similar experience when she joined her first Reiki class in Crewe – everyone was so warm and welcoming, there were lots of hugs going on, and in her words: ‘I felt like I’d found my tribe.’
Yes! That’s exactly how it felt when I joined Frans’ retreat in Matlock. There was no need to explain to this beautiful bunch of people what Reiki was, or why it’d had such a massive effect on my life – because they already knew.
They were indeed my tribe, they got it, and they got me. Big time!
Not that Reiki is an exclusive club reserved for just the chosen few – far from it! Reiki really is universal, absolutely EVERYONE can learn how to use Reiki for their own well–being, and can, if they want to, also use it to help their friends and family.
But please don’t think of Reiki as some happy–clappy, New Age type of therapy – that couldn’t be further from the truth. Reiki is an ancient healing technique that’s been around forever.
I suppose that’s why I feel so evangelical about this amazing healing technique, because it’s so simple, and so natural – it should be available on prescription! (Actually, it sort of is, with increasing numbers of hospitals, hospices, and GP practices now offering Reiki to patients.)
However, I also know that, once you’ve found Reiki (although in practice, it’s usually Reiki that finds you… as you can read here:
...it’s wonderful to be able to share all that you’ll inevitably start to experience with other people who understand what you’re going through: your tribe.
That’s why I always invite all my Reiki workshop students to a free, monthly Reiki Share in The Cabin. It’s not only a chance to practice giving – and receiving – Reiki, but it’s an opportunity to meet others who are just like you: people who get it, and who get you.
If you’re feeling that same pull to know more, then maybe check out my Learn Reiki With Me pages and consider signing up for a class – there’s still a few places left on my May Reiki I workshop.
Or if you’d just like to know more about Reiki and its origins, then I’d really recommend reading The Reiki Source Book by Frans Stiener.
Until next week.
Much love,
Denise
